The Girl's Birthday

Today our babies turn 5 years old they are growing up so fast! We were hoping to have a nice day with them but the weather is nuking outside. There is 6 inches on the ground so far and it's still snowing. (I thought it was spring?) We are gearing up for a White rim trip this weekend and we are all praying to the weather gods to keep the sun shining and the rain away. I have found some fun pictures of the babies over the years so everyone can see how damn cute they are.

Eric decorated the house for the girls birthday (this was their 2nd Birthday)

Madison totally embarrassed that she has to wear a birthday hat.

Grace is utterly mortified.

Eric actually baked a cake and decorated it himself.

January

Fred Beckey and I after he and Eric went skiing at Snowbasin. He stayed over and showed us old movies of himself and a group of mountaineers doing a new route first ascent on Mt. McKinley in 1954!! He just celebrated his 86th Birthday in January!

Vince, Sarah, Karen, Pete, Eric and I enjoying a bluebird day at Snowbasin It was so nice by the fire we had a hard time getting back out to ski. Eric friend Rick came in from Spokane to do some skiing so we headed to Snowbasin where we ran into Kay and Kevin. It was a great day. Kay and Rick just wanted to let everyone know in case they were wondering how they really feel about retirement. I think the picture speaks for itself. Eric and Kevin

January is coming to a close it's been a great weather minus the inversion in the SL valley. Mom celebrated her 68th Birthday!! We threw her a little suprise party which turned out fabulous it was great to see some of my extended family it had been way too long. (pictures will be posted when I get them from my sister) I took my niece Samantha snowboarding for the first time....she was a trooper. Unfortunately I forgot my camera so I don't have any blackmail photo to post on the blog.
