June 27-28th MS 150 Logan UT

We did the MS 150 this weekend. It was up in Logan and it's a 150 mile ride over two days. Everyone knows I have been training hard for this (hehehehe) ok so I rode my bike twice but I have been mountain bike a lot. To my astonishment we made it 75 mile the first day without any major problems (some sore shoulders and neck but I felt relatively good). Day 2 I was dreading but when we got to camp everyone want to do a modified loop that was 50 miles instead of the whole 75 well I couldn't argue with the team and we had a great ride, it was beautiful up a nice canyon, which they closed to automobile traffic just for the event.

I would just like to Thank everyone again who donated to this event. It's such a great cause and it really means alot to me to know I have such great people in my life to support me!! THANK YOU!

Steve Horton coming into the finish line on day one!!

One Day down one day to go!

Windi, Andrew, Mark and Eric. Andrew pulled us up that canyon!

Eric and I at Hardware ranch up at the top of Blacksmith fork canyon.

This is my cute bike pinkie. Carol and I went and did a ride from Mountain Green to Morgan.

Carol did the little red riding hood earlier this month and wanted proof to show people that she did the 100 miles so for any skeptic here is a picture of her odometer before she reset it.

Hawaii June 1-8, 2009 Rhonda & Jason's Wedding

We decided to tag along to my friend Jason and Rhonda's wedding on Oahu. Jason and I have been friends since kindergarten and Rhonda and I have been friends since I was about 19 (I had to use her ID to go to Las Vegas before I turned 21).
It was such a beautiful wedding the setting was incredible with a perfect sunset and a stunning bride.
Eric and I had so much fun there we surfed, snorkeled, scuba dived, sea kayaked, and tried paddle boarding. (we are ready to move there)

View from our hotel room on Waikiki Beach

We went to Jimmy Buffett's at the beachcomber to see this excellent ukelele play who is touring with Buffett. His name is Jake Shimabukuro and he is the most amazing ukelele player I have ever seen.

Eric and I at the Dole pineapple plantation!! Two crazy pineapples!

While Eric wasn't looking I was trying to pick up a hot sailor at the aviation museum at Pearl Harbor.

Eric longing to sail the open sea.

The aircraft carrier USS John C Stennis was in port at Pearl Harbor it houses 6,000 troops.
